Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Last updated: 18 September 2026

This policy is written for residents of California. It supplements our Privacy Policy and is provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the "CCPA"). Terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning here. Residents of other states with consumer privacy laws: see Residents of other states below.

Who we are

SeekYourJustice is a website operated by Four Nine Nine Ltd. We are not a law firm and not a lawyer referral service. When you submit a case review request, Four Nine Nine Ltd shares it with participating attorneys, law firms and their intake providers so they can contact you about your case, and may be compensated for that. Under the CCPA that sharing can count as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, which is why this page exists.

1. Your right to know

You may ask us to tell you what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why we collected it, and who we shared or sold it to, and to give you a copy of the specific information in a portable, readily usable format.

In the preceding 12 months we collected these categories: identifiers (name, email address, phone number, IP address); personal information under Cal. Civ. Code 1798.80 (ZIP code and the state it maps to); commercial information (the case type you asked about and your intake answers); internet activity (pages viewed, referring site, campaign and affiliate identifiers); coarse geolocation (ZIP code and IP address); sensitive personal information (on the disability intake, whether you are working and whether a doctor is treating you for your condition, which is information about your health); inferences (none - we do not draw inferences); and the consent record (the TrustedForm certificate). The sources are you, when you fill in the intake or contact us, and your browser or device. The business purposes are to pass your request to participating attorneys and intake providers, to run and secure the site, to measure our advertising, to answer your questions and requests, and to respond to regulators and lawful demands. How long we keep each category: see How long we keep it in the Privacy Policy.

Since launch we have not sold or shared intake requests with participating attorneys, law firms or their intake providers: no firm is listed on the Participating attorneys page yet, and requests are held by us until one is. When we do, the categories sold or shared will be identifiers, personal information under Cal. Civ. Code 1798.80, commercial information, coarse geolocation and, for the disability intake, sensitive personal information, with these categories of third parties: participating attorneys, law firms and their intake providers. We shared internet activity (campaign identifiers and pages viewed) with the advertising network whose measurement tag we load (MGID). We disclosed for a business purpose: identifiers, internet activity and the consent record, to these categories of service providers: hosting, security and bot protection (Cloudflare), consent certification (ActiveProspect TrustedForm), contact-form delivery (Resend) and usage analytics (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity). Personal information under the CCPA does not include publicly available government records or de-identified information.

2. Your right to delete

You may ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you: use the form above or email contact@499group.com with the subject "CCPA right to delete". Once we verify the request we delete your records from our systems, except where the law lets us keep them, for example to complete a request you asked for, to keep the record of a consent you gave, to detect fraud, or to meet a legal obligation. We will tell you if we keep anything and why. We also notify the service providers and the third parties that received your information from us in the previous 90 days, and instruct them to delete it or to stop selling or sharing it, unless doing so is impossible or involves disproportionate effort.

3. Your right to opt out of sale or sharing

You may tell us not to sell or share your personal information: use the form above, email contact@499group.com with the subject "Do not sell my information", or write to the address below. Note that submitting the case review request is itself a request that we pass your information to participating attorneys so that they can contact you about your case; if you later opt out, we stop any further sale or sharing of the information we hold. We also notify the service providers and the third parties that received your information from us in the previous 90 days, and instruct them to delete it or to stop selling or sharing it, unless doing so is impossible or involves disproportionate effort. We do not sell or share the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16.

To stop calls or messages from a participating attorney or intake provider, reply STOP to any text message, tell the caller, or use the unsubscribe link in their email; those messages come from them, not from us.

4. Opt-out preference signals

We honor the Global Privacy Control signal: when your browser sends it, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale and sharing for that browser and we do not load advertising tags. If your browser sends the signal and you then submit a request form, we tell you on the form that the two conflict and ask you to confirm that you want this request sent to participating attorneys, law firms and their intake providers; your confirmation applies to that request only, and the signal keeps applying to everything else.

5. Your right to limit the use of sensitive personal information

The disability intake asks whether you are working and whether a doctor is treating you for your condition - in other words, whether a medical condition keeps you from working. That is information about your health, which California law calls sensitive personal information. We collect it only with your consent, given on the form before the question is asked; you can withdraw it by email. We use it only to send your request to the participating law firm that handles disability claims in your state and to keep the consent record; we do not use it to infer characteristics about you and we do not use it for advertising. Because passing it to a law firm can count as a sale or sharing, you may limit our use of it: use the form above with "Limit the use of my sensitive personal information" selected, or email contact@499group.com with the subject "Limit sensitive information", or write to the address below. The Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information link in the footer of every page leads to that form.

Once we receive your request we use your sensitive personal information only for the purposes California law allows: to send the request you submitted, to keep the consent record, to secure the site and to comply with law. We tell the participating attorneys, law firms and their intake providers that received it to do the same.

6. Your right to correct

You may ask us to correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you. Tell us what is wrong and what it should be; we may ask for documentation before we change a record.

7. Non-discrimination

We will not deny you the service, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised any of these rights.

8. How to submit a verifiable request

Send requests through the form at the top of this page, through the contact form with the subject "Privacy request", by email to contact@499group.com, or by post to Four Nine Nine Ltd, 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom. Requests to opt out of sale or sharing and requests to limit the use of sensitive personal information are not verified: we act on them as received, unless we have reason to believe the request is fraudulent. Requests to know, delete or correct are verified as described here. Such a request must say which of those rights you are exercising and give us enough to verify you are the person the information is about. To verify identity we match the name, email address, phone number and, if needed, the ZIP code you used on this site against our records. We do not ask for a Social Security number to verify a request. You may make a request to know twice in any 12-month period; requests to delete or to correct have no such limit.

An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf if the agent provides your signed permission; for requests to know, delete or correct we also verify your identity directly with you.

9. When we respond

We act on opt-out and limit requests within 15 business days and tell the third parties that received your personal information in the previous 90 days to stop selling or sharing it. For requests to know, delete or correct we confirm receipt within 10 business days and answer within 45 days; if we need up to 45 more days we tell you why in writing, by email to the address you gave us. If we deny a request, you may appeal as described under Your privacy rights in the Privacy Policy.

Information held by attorneys

Once a participating attorney, law firm or intake provider has received your request, it holds that information under its own privacy policy. We pass your deletion and opt-out requests on to it as described above; you may also contact that firm directly about the information it holds.

Residents of other states

The rights above, and the appeal process, are also available to residents of other states with consumer privacy laws; see Your privacy rights in the Privacy Policy.
